 Mission of the Month—"Sock-tober"

Marie Sandvik was a determined Norwegian immigrant who felt called to serve the neediest people of Minneapolis. She set up the Minneapolis Revival Mission in 1940 and its ministry continues today, long after her death in 1992.

For Socktober we collect socks to donate to the MSC.  Please bring new adult, teen, child or baby socks and drop them in the marked baskets.

Marie (Mari) was born on October 13, 1902, so in recognition of the 116th year since her birth,
our goal is to raise $116 and collect 116 pair of socks this month for the Marie Sandvik Center,
our neighbor at 1112 E. Franklin Avenue.
